Encouraging Communities of Learning and ICT Integration by Modeling Good Practice

Few teachers have seen good ICT practice modelled as a part of their own educational experiences. They need to be provided with opportunities to participate in communities of learning with their colleagues, which in turn will encourage effective ICT use in their classrooms. This paper looks at international and national studies about ICT use and highlights some of the innovative programs being run at Strathcona Baptist Girls Grammar School in Melbourne.
