This paper provides a review of a Smart Classrooms Discovery and Development initiative eLearning Teacher Leadership Program. The program seeks to build educational leadership in teaching and learning with ICT as a commitment to the Smart Classrooms vision of The Queensland Department of Education, Training and the Arts.

To celebrate National Poetry Month, the Northwestern University Collaboratory Project invites K-12 classrooms to participate in National Poetry Month. Students create, share, publish and discuss poetry online. Attendees view examples of student poetry and discussions; discuss the values of online publication; and learn how they can be part of these exciting Collaboratory Sponsored Projects. Participants in this session will participate as students in a Collaboratory Sponsored Project.
This paper reports on two student-centred wiki-based projects where students from an Australian school have joined with others from around the world to develop ICT skills in communication, construction and joint thinking relevant to the digital age in which they will live and work. The Horizon project (see http://horizonproject.wikispaces.com) involved schools from the United States, Bangladesh, Austria and China. Students responsed and created multimedia artefacts in response to the 2007 Horizon Project (see http://horizon.nmc.org/wiki/Main_Page).
