ICT in curriculum and pedagogical transformation

This session will demonstrate how embedding the use of an Interactive Whiteboard (IWB) and inclusive/assistive technology software can assist in the design of a differentiated and integrated curriculum approach to learning, catering for the needs of all students in a mainstream junior primary class. The class theme for the term was Farmyard Hullabaloo.
Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework supports the use of technology to provide learners access to multiple means of representation, multiple means of expression, and multiple means of engagement.
Clicker 5 is a versatile writing support and multimedia program that teachers and learners of all ages can use to create a variety of digital activities such as talking books, labelling, classifying, and word and sentences banks. It also contains a picture supported talking word processor.
Using the Sharepoint/Scholaris LMS as a base I have developed a workspace and strategies to teach the International Baccalaureate (IB) subject Information Technology in a Global Society (ITGS). I
